One stop from Whitby, beside the river, the boat hire and the pub, and at the start of the level riverside walk into town.

Ruswarp station is on the edge of the village by the level crossing, moments from the Bridge Inn, the boat hire on the river and the village shop. It is the last stop before Whitby, and a favourite way to start or finish a walk into town.

From the platform

The riverside walk to Whitby, under Larpool Viaduct, is level and takes under an hour.
Hire a rowing boat on the Esk in summer.
Climb to the Larpool Viaduct and the Cinder Track for the traffic-free route to Robin Hood's Bay.
