The Horseshoe sits in a wooded bend of the Esk at the heart of Egton Bridge, with a garden running down to the river and the stepping stones a few yards away. It has been an inn since the 1700s and offers rooms, bar food and a comfortable place to sit after the walk from Glaisdale through Arncliffe Wood. St Hedda's Church is next door.
