Victorian science fiction comes to the seaside: costumes, markets, music and tea duelling.

Whitby's steampunk gatherings bring goggles, top hats, brass and corsetry to the town for a long weekend, with a market at the Pavilion, live music, talks, promenades along the West Cliff and the gloriously silly sport of tea duelling. Steampunk weekends are held more than once a year; check for the latest dates.
