Steam-hauled trips from Pickering to meet Father Christmas on weekends from late November and the days before Christmas. Book well ahead.

The railway's Santa Express trains run from Pickering to Levisham and back on weekends from late November, plus 22 to 24 December, with Father Christmas visiting every child on board and steam engines decked out for the season. Trains do not run from Grosmont for this event. Tickets sell out early, so book as soon as they go on sale in the autumn.

Dates shown are the usual pattern for this event and should be confirmed with the organiser before travelling.
