The twice-yearly gathering of the goth and alternative scene in the town that inspired Dracula.

Since 1994 Whitby has hosted the Goth Weekend twice a year, in spring and around Halloween. The town fills with extraordinary costumes, there are live bands, the Bizarre Bazaar market and a lot of photography on the 199 steps. Accommodation books up months ahead.
