Four days of intensive steam running with visiting locomotives, goods trains and late-evening services.

The railway's autumn gala brings visiting engines from around the country to join the home fleet for a packed timetable, with freight demonstrations, double-heading and photographic opportunities along the whole line. Grosmont engine sheds are at their busiest.

Dates shown are the usual pattern for this event and should be confirmed with the organiser before travelling.
