The Board Inn faces the green and the river at Lealholm, with a beer garden that runs down to the water beside the old bridge. It is known for cooking from its own farm and for its position: the stepping stones, the tea rooms, the shop and the station are all within a few minutes' walk, and the Esk Valley Walk passes the door.
